About Matt Moulton for Sheriff | Vision

As a resident of Houston County for 24 years, I have witnessed the growth and progress of our community. However, I believe there is still much work to be done in terms of public safety and the well-being of our citizens by continuing our great Sheriffs legacy.

I am running for Sheriff because I genuinely believe that I was called by God to serve my community as a law enforcement officer. Inspired by Isaiah 6:8, which says, "Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, 'Whom shall I send? And Who will go for us?' and I said, 'Here am I. Send me!'" I am ready to answer that calling and be the leader Houston County needs.

1. Experience: With a proven track record in law enforcement, I bring extensive experience in managing crucial units within the Sheriff's Department. I have the knowledge and skills needed to navigate complex situations and make sound decisions.

2. Community-Driven: My deep ties to Houston County and my role as a leader in the Southside Baptist Church High School Student Ministry have allowed me to understand the needs and concerns of our community. I am committed to representing your voice and addressing the issues that matter most to you.

3. Transparency and Accountability: As your Sheriff, I will prioritize transparency and accountability. I believe in building trust through open communication and will work closely with both law enforcement agencies and the community to ensure that we maintain the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.

4. Safety and Well-Being: The safety and well-being of our residents are my

utmost priorities. I am dedicated to implementing effective strategies that combat crime, protect our neighborhoods, and create an environment where every Houston County citizen can thrive.
